Male Flicker

Yesterday I posted the timid female Flicker; today it is a  male Flicker.  This was taken through my kitchen window.

Yesterday several of you suggested that my local eagles or red tail hawks might have been overhead.....they could be completely right!! I do seem them in my area, I should have thought of that. Now time for bed early!
