Fittie

Cycled to "Fittie" after work yesterday to take this blip. This little former fishing village at the mouth of the Dee is a little gem. These are some of the 'tarry sheds' in the central communal area, reputed to have been built over the years by bits of driftwood and gradually expanded. Most of the houses surrounding the square are very low but the one in the back ground in this photo has been extended upwards in the last century by a local priest to create more space for his growing family.
