Lietzensee Wears Green For St Pats

Saint Patricks day and glorious weather. As if by magic Lietzensee was sporting green , crocus were blooming and a group of Mallards were doing their own air show .Talk about the Green Arrows ! See if you can spot one in this picture . They were fantastic to watch and flew at such a speed . Sparrows bounced about with excitement and the hooded crows kept up a splendid commentary with each performance .The cafe was open and it was magical to sit on the lakeside terrace drinking coffee , soaking up the sun and rejoicing that spring has finally hit Berlin. Even the fish in the water were doing their best to swim close to the surface and enjoy warmth
