verges.....

I was a bit stuck for a blip today until I remembered his roadside verge along Harwood road which stretches from North to south Horsham alongside Leechpool woods. 
I remember when this road was built, in my late teens, so these trees must be 40 years old, the daffodils are a newer addition (about 10 years) but I think together with the long shadows cast by the late afternoon sun they make a stunning combination.
