Old and New

Whilst not as spectacular as yesterday's warriors, the city of Xian is well worth a visit - even in the smog! The city walls remain intact and provide a great vantage point as you endure enjoy a leisurely 14km cycle around the city.

An excellent hot pot lunch was followed by a visit to the great white goose pagoda with its lovely statues of Buddha before the dreaded sleeper train!
