Shell

Drove to Catterline this morning hoping to see some seals  -  there is a rock there where they sometimes assemble.  Couldn't see any, but the shore there is a magic place to seek out unusual stones, shells, seaweed and driftwood.  This shell was amongst a group of barnacles, and its size fascinated me  -  you can see it beside the tiny 5p piece here. I didn't wander for long - it is a dull, cold day  -  supposedly 6 degrees plus, more like minus though!  Have a nice coming weekend.
