Happy Thanksgiving to all you American blippers :)

Grace and I went Christmas shopping at the Metro Centre today. Hunted out as many bargains as possible as it is a bit of a tight year (isn't it the same for everyone?). Went to Woolies while it still exists. This crunch just keeps getting worse...I did splash out on a nice lunch for us in Nando's, though. While we were in town, we dropped by to see my friend Tessa and baby Jessica. Mum and baby were fine, as you can tell. Seeing this photo of Grace next to Jessica is kind of scary, given that Jessica is now round about the same size as Grace was when she was born. Where have the past 15 months gone?

Things were very much overshadowed today by the news from Mumbai. Totally shocking and horrendous to think what is happening there. My thoughts go out to those who are there or have been affected by the truly awful events.
