NO contest!

On the left - 40 conventional Watts.
HOT enough to OUCH! after a few seconds lit, when I tried to remove it WAY too soon.
On the right - 3 L.E.D. Watts.
Still warm enough to handle after 2-3 hours use.
I know which MY money's on in future.
Not that it matters significantly in that location, but many of the "stark" white bulbs are trumpeted as being nearer to daylight and better for anybody with "S.A.D." Which I very nearly NEVER am.
