Golden silents
It's the gala opening night of the always excellent Hippodrome Festival of Silent Cinema. As always, you're encouraged to dress swanky and/or period, with moustaches being de rigueur this year. The feature was a 1926 Beatrice Lillie/Jack Pickford production, Exit Smiling, with live accompaniment by the superb Neil Brand - looking dapper here in his white tux.
Others pictured included our pal Phil, doing his pimp thing; HippFest director Alison Strauss, always elegant; Falkirk councillor and suave dude Adrian Mahoney; and BlipFoto's very own EdiSteve!
Two more days to go!
