Fire on the Hill

There was a fire on the hill in the Wither Hills Farm Park this afternoon. Over 5 hectares of grass and trees were burnt. Apparently the fire broke out very near walking and mountain biking tracks. Children playing with matches is a likely cause. Luckily the fire fighting services were fast in containing the fire. With a brisk breeze blowing and many people walking and riding in the Park we could have had a disaster on our hands.
