Monument, St Mary's Old Church, Schull
After a morning of holy well explorations, we had an appointment with Maggs the hairdresser, me for a trim and Herself to "have her natural colour restored". Since the latter takes hours and involves bits of silver foil and smelly goop, I went off to sketch.
Inside the ruined church was deathly cold so I would have liked to continue with this one but had to stop before I went rigid, like the occupant of the tomb I was sitting on. This monument is being reclaimed by an elder bush but must have once been very fine with its smart railings.
