Lazy Day Blip

Since I was ill, I have discovered that I can no longer drink strong coffee, eat spicy food or (as i discovered last night) drink a lot of alcohol.  I was really suffering this morning which led to a very quiet day. Pops likes a quiet day too and, given the choice, would sit on the sofa all day looking at her laptop. We managed to drag her out for a dog walk this afternoon which was lovely. 
We've actually turned down an invitation to go down the pub this evening in favour of a film, fire and bottle of wine at home. We must be getting old.
