Defenceless.

This chap looks so defenceless without his crowning glory. It is amazing how the stag calm right down once they have shed their antlers - from now the stag tend to group together away from the hinds as they, the hinds,  prepare for motherhood in a few weeks time - it is a quiet time in the park. 
I did manage to catch a swan in flight this morning - see my extra photo.

I don't quite know what to say about yesterday - I am totally overwhelmed by all the wonderful comments, stars and hearts that you gave me for my 1000th Blip. Thank you seems so inadequate - I feel so blessed to have so many Blip friends - you are a wonderful bunch of folk - thank you! xxx
