Cornered

One of the two cats in our house is, despite her advanced age, an excellent mouser.  That's to say she catches them but then brings them in and deposits them in the house for our enjoyment.

The problem is that Jane is a Musophobic (yes that word does exist).

It was left to me to catch it humanely and release it outside to live another day.  Not before I grabbed my camera for a quick blip shot.

Last week I got bitten by a mouse during a similar encounter.

Unfortunately  it has suffered some damage to its tail but I expect it will be OK.
