A Chilly Brizzle Day
Grey and cold today. One of the coldest I can remember in Bristol though I know I have been here when it has been snowing.
After a morning about the house (we could only inspect the new garden from inside as the flags haven't to be walked on until tomorrow), we headed over to Clifton to pick up son in law John who has just got back from a snowboarding holiday in France.
Lots more glorious Magnolias but seen only from the car. Next to the house where we were picking John up was a lovely white one so I just had to photograph it.
We then did a bit of (expensive as only Clifton can be) shopping - well Grace did and then headed for somewhere warm for brunch.
Returning via Gloucester Road for some foodie buys we had to find somewhere to park (we normally walk) so we went along the road where their old flat used to be and here I spotted today's blip. A pig with an Easter bonnet! It had to be despite the fact that the crocus were plastic-the daffs were real.
Nice to catch up with family as always, we'll be back again next month when we can explore the garden, hopefully in warmer weather!
