Red sky

I was an absolutely awful day for my birthday. We'd both taken the day off work and planned to take the dogs to the beach, but it was a total washout, so we just spent the day at home doing not much (which was still nice). Just before it went dark the sky went mad and all the clouds turned red/purple/orange. It was such an odd light, the photograph really doesn't show how unusual it was.
