blip meeting no1.

Attended my first blip meeting today with Woofcity, 13South, ThingsBeautiful and PeterB at Portsmouth Docks.
With the Spinnaker as a target we met in a cafe and fortified faced the flipping cold bracing wind. Some very crazy brave people were abseiling down the Spinnaker to raise money for he Portsmouth Downs Syndrome Trust, a great cause but I'll stick to the stairs or the lift!  
Lunchtime was at The Old Customs House which allowed fingers to warm up and conversation continue, it can be daunting meeting people for the first time but everyone was lovely and we even discussed things other than photography, radical eh? (nothing to do with my ability to rattle on about nothing in particular and everything in general, they were very tolerant of me).
Replete and warm we took in the other side of the quay before heading off home after promising to all meet up again when it was warmer.
