View from Peel Tower, Ramsbottom

Both my husband (benjihaworth on Blip) and I started to get a bit cabin feverish today. I'd been swimming in the morning but not much else was going on. Poor show for us really.

I've been reluctant to leave the house to do anything too far away and subsequently this has sent me a bit insane.

At about 5pm, with the sun still shining (miracle) we decided to head out and catch the last of the rays.

We headed to one of our favourite places for a quick stomp, Ramsbottom. We're actually hoping to move up there next year so know it well after many explorations.

Before I was expecting, I used to run up to the tower and run one of the many bridleways/footpaths around, down and back up! Today, I just about managed to walk up the main path to the tower.

But it felt good.

Fresh air, views, sunshine and my ever caring, understanding and put up with anything husband.

I'm glad we went.
