Make a wish

Part of the enjoyment of Christmas for my family and me is making Christmas. It seems that Christmas is all bought now ready packaged from the supermarket for most people. Just heat and eat. We always make our puddings and cake that way you get to know what goes in them. Plus I get a chance for an unscheduled beer from the 3/4 of the bottle that doesn't go into it! We all have a stir and wish. This bowlful will make 3puds one large and two small. Its a bit different to a traditional dark pud and it has candied tropic fruits in such as mango and guava and pineapple rather than orange and lemon candied peel. It's now in my slow cooker for 12 hours steaming. Phew!
