Red Crested Pochard

After a good lie-in and breakfast we had a drive out to Hartsholme  and Swanholme Lakes. There's lovely scenery and often interesting wildlife there so it's a great place for a Sunday afternoon walk. 

I took a fair few shots, but my favourite is this one of a Red Crested Pochard. I've seen them before but never as close as this. He and his partner swam close to the water's edge like they wanted to be photographed. 

After we had an awesome lunch in Morrison's and now it's time for the Manchester Derby - Come on you Reds!!
