Went to Margate with my friend Jo today and had a look at the Joachim Koestler exhibition at the Turner. Loved the botanical photos but not overawed by the rest of it.
However, we did love this exhibition by Leise Wilson called '365 Days'. Each of the squares on the far wall in the photo represents the sky out of her window every day at a certain point between the two tides. Some are black, because it's night, but others are golden sunsets, blue skies, grey skies, etc. It was really beautiful, and actually covered more than 365 days as there was work from 2014 and 2013 too.
Had a lovely lunch at the Ambrette, as ever, had a wander round town and had a good old catch up before heading home!
