Nuts

Roger is back and he's hungry. He spent quite a bit of time this afternoon, having knocked the peanut feeder onto the ground, trying to get the peanuts out of it, but to no avail. I have therefore put it back on the bird feeding station to make it easier for him.

Otherwise today I've done some housework and written a presentation and abstract for the university symposium in April. I also walked the dogs this morning, while Mr DawnAgain was out clay pigeon shooting. I bumped into Annabelle and Basil Junior and we walked along just in front of a man whose spaniel had just caught and killed a rabbit with myxomatosis :( He was carrying the rabbit by the feet and gave a good impression of the Pied Piper as all the dogs in the vicinity - including ours - hung hopefully around the deceased rabbit. It seems there's a bit of an outbreak of myxi at the moment, unfortunately for the rabbits.
