Torchy's Trifecta

Okay so this is the third time back since an epic opening night back in Feb. This time I finally got to eat "The Democrat" (not pictured) which was a fine rendition of carnitas due to it's abundance of flavor and near perfect texture, both moist AND a slightly crispy. The taco pictured is actually on the Torchy's "Secret Menu" (widely available online) and it's aptly named "The Matador". Soft flour tortilla on the outside, fried crunchy corn on the inside, it creates the same piercing actions an actual bullfighter would make. Eating this creation has you sinking into juicy brisket spiced with jalapeños and smoothed over with a generous avocado chunk and well applied sour cream. The pink pickled onions add fresh flavor and add another flavor dimension.

Overall: I might have to eat this for years
to come... ¡Olé!
