Chartwell
An opportune day for a trip to Chartwell, country home to Winston Churchill back in the day and kept as such by the National Trust.
Not too far around the M25 albeit a dreary drive and spent a good few hours poking around the house, studio, and walking the grounds. Just the right amount to look at and take in and with the views even on a grey day you can see why it was so loved. A great place to be.
Some tidying and baking once back home, and good to see P & R on their way back as well.
