Wembley selfie

I ran the North London half marathon this morning. I was taken aback at how hilly north London is, and the course seemed to go relentlessly up and down. At half way I was running well, but by the time I reached the last two miles, the energy and power in my muscles seemed to drain away and I slowed dramatically. It was nevertheless inspiring to finish alongside the pitch inside Wembley Stadium, where in spite of my exhaustion a selfie just had to be taken!
