The Martello Tower, moat and bathing machine.

Next autumn/winter work will begin on an a new entrance bridge leading to the door in this picture. This was the original entrance across the moat. There will be a lift to the ground floor museum - it's quite big, under the tarmacked moat that you see here. This will give disabled access. It's taken years to get all the ducks in a row - tenancy agreement from the local Council, grants, permissions etc. The good news is that the costs have not gone up appreciably.
