Flowers and Raindrops

Dougal went to the vets this morning for his check up and the ulcer has completely healed; he just has to finish his antibiotics. Hopefully when catching mice in the future he will avoid getting grass seeds in his eye.

Yesterday was St Swithin's day and the legend says that if it is dry then there will be no rain for the next forty days; wrong. I do not recall any rain here yesterday, but today it is raining again.

I took these Busy Lizzie and Lobelia flowers, which are in the tubs, from just outside the front door! Maybe it is drier where you are.
