Pods

A handful of tiny pods are all that stands between the next generation, or this being the last.  I love the hairs covering these flower buds.  The buds are a beautiful deep red, but the hairs didn't really stand out until I converted this image to black and white.  After seeing it this way, I decided to trade color for contrast.
