Mono Monday - The Big Picture
Took myself out to Mt Blackheath for a rather obvious 'big picture'.
Mt Blackheath is about 8kms from Blackheath at the very end of Shipley Plateau.
The steps you see lead to a purpose built ramp from which gliders take off, soaring over the beautiful Kanimbla Valley.
Some time back I blipped them.
If the conditions are right they sometimes reach Bathurst.
You can see a whole lot of the earth from here.
Years ago there was a brass plate indicating direction and distances to exotic places: Rome, Paris, London.
Sadly, some idiot went to a lot of trouble to remove it, and, I suspect, roll it down the cliff.
I'm sorry I forgot to mention the tags. Mono Monday, Monday Monday113, MM113
