Lost and Found Blue Iris

An early blip today and then I must get on with some work, in particular marking student’s scripts.

Before the builders started making a mess in the garden as well as the house, I have some blue and some purple Irises, which I did not see at all last year. This morning while filling the bird feeders I discovered that one of them had pushed through between the flagstones in front of the small pond.
