Aurora Borealis (not)

It was on the radio that there was a slight chance that we could see Aurora Borealis this night after midnight. We waited an hour or so without any result. The only light we saw was the light of our lighttower Brandaris every four seconds. With a shutterspeed of twenty seconds this means that five flashes were recorded on this picture. I left at one o'clock only to hear that slight traces of this phenomena were seen in the northern provinces half an hour after I left.
