Whitby

A trip to Whitby this morning for a walk round and a bit of shopping. We went down to the end of the harbour wall which was a bit on the windy side, and then crossed over to the south side and had a wander around the old town. Back to the other side and lunch in the Magpie cafe which was full even though it is a March Monday! Haddock, chips and mushy peas for me and crab salad for W although she did pinch a few chips. I don't think we'll be eating much more today!

My picture is one of the ice cream huts near the sea, and I've faffed with it a bit to add interest.
