View from the cottage

This is the boathouse & dock from the deck of our cousins' cottage It's on an island on Lake Muskoka, Ontario, so once we've boated over there we usually stay put for the weekend. Dips in the lake, a pleasant contrast at 27 degrees C (80F) to the air temp of 35 degrees C. People drop by for drinks & snacks so we don't eat dinner until very late. The record so far is 11pm!

We are off to Bancroft for 3 nights on Monday then back again to the cottage next weekend. Bancroft is the 'Gem Capital of Ontario'. Not too far to drive and a good base for exploring Lake of Bays and the Algonquin National Park.
