Photography Show & Blipmeet
A quick blip and go as I need to get some sleep before I go to work overnight ....
You can no doubt guess where we went today!
I went looking for a light travel tripod, found all of the possibles and settled on the Manfrotto.
Gill was looking for a photo-book supplier and found exactly what she was after.
We bought some sample packs of Hahnemuhle paper as Gill likes their watercolour paper and the quality looks to be similar.
We met up with several other blippers - what a great community this is- John Gravett has a fish eye group shot which should look good shows us all smiling! Black Tulip too.
And finally - Gill got to try several potential next cameras and settled on the Canon EOS 3M.
The extra is one of the portrait sessions. The chap in the check shirt, Stephen Perry, talked about quick portraits, had rather a fight with the technology but more or less got his points over.
Not so good... £12 to park ... is that just what the market will stand?
Adobe giving out too many tickets for their presentations, and then getting irritated with customers when they give 'polite feedback'
Overall though - a good day :-)
