New Painting.......!

My hubby bought me this painting for Valentines Day last month......not sure it would appeal to everyone but I just LOVE it......
It was on display in our local Church Centre McAuley Place....who have an arrangement with local artists to display their work for sale...
I was mesmerised when I saw this as it instantly transported me back to my early childhood.....
I grew up in a cottage with Windows like this and there would often have been hens stood on the windowsill...
As I grew up the windows were replaced and we eventually had no chickens left......
I look forward to having a chat with the artist to see just what inspired her to paint it...!
