Hokitika Wildfoods Festival

We walked in to town and arrived at the festival. As we walked in and had our tickets scanned, there was a band playing on top of the archway above us. I'd never seen that before and it was a great way to be welcomed!

We were given a menu of all the stalls and their weird and wonderful foods. We walked around, deciding what to try. We sampled quite a lot including wallaby! It was such a great day with lots of live music, delicious food and good beer! We all got a bit sunburnt even though it was cloudy.
