The farmers need it

One often hears people say "It's good for the garden" or "The farmers need it" when it rains. Well I make no claim of expertise but I'm prepared to bet that this farm worker really didn't need to be cutting the grass back in the field in the driving rain. In the time I've lived here I don't remember seeing this but I remember reading that cattle don't like the grass too long - and most of the growth will be because of the rain. If you look at this bad boy in big you'll see the rain coming in from the right.

Car is serviced ready for the trip to Manchester tomorrow. I'll do some more ironing tonight ready for next week. Living that rock and roll lifestyle!
