Fire in the Sky

It was a moment this morning when the sun finally burned away clouds and mist and showed itself in the sky - a long moment really of holding my breath and shooting this way and that way and finding that position that worked best. I held my breath but felt at the same time these bold colors were taking my breath away. I love red sun - which is what I call it - a red ball that appears through gray and mist. This lasted so long and was just the energy boost I needed to help me get through Ming's vet appointment today.

Fire in the sky. Now it is hazy hot and humid and I am headed to the farm shortly to pick up my CSA - farm share.

I've been up since 3:30 AM - couldn't sleep so went shooting.
