Days gone by

We have our daily dog walk in Longford Park. It used to be the stately home and estate of John Rylands, a very wealthy cotton magnate. This entrance and some gardens are all that's left now, but the estate is a nice park with leisure facilities. Thank goodness it's still a green space. Not sure it would survive nowadays.
