DXB - Airport

This is Dubai International Airport - Terminal 1. I had a few minutes waiting for G to finish her teaching lesson. I'd love to live here - you can see all the comings and goings of aeroplanes. Amazingly, it is not noisy at all, despite the proximity.

Had to knuckle down and tackle some work stuff. It was hard to concentrate, especially with the news coming out of Brussels.

Had a productive afternoon striking things off a to-do list; the weekly shop being one of them. [Eye roll]. G had an SMS on her phone from the Legal department of the network provider threatening legal action of a fee she wasn't aware she owed. Apparently they have been trying to reach her (not) to collect an outstanding payment (of £25) and as she hadn't responded, it had now got to this stage!

Fortunately we were close to a Du outlet, so we went to find out more... I should have insisted they show proof of attempts to be in touch. Think they may have sent messages in Arabic with no English translation. Anyhow, it is now settled without her paying any legal fees. Honestly, so much drama for such a small amount!!

I have to say though - when I was taking my blip - you can see it is overcast. This type of weather puts people in such a great mood (mainly because of the temperature drop), and if it rains - EVEN BETTER! :D  And it did... very very slightly.
