It all started so innocently....

The sky looked so pretty this morning and I loved cycling to school this morning with birds singing in the trees.
By the time I reached school the news of the first bomb in Brussels trickled trough...
It has been a strange day, Abbie was on a school trip to Bruges and was already half way there on the bus. So they stayed there and finally made it back home after 6 pm. Pippa was in school as normal, the only change was that they were not allowed outside during playtime.
Thankfully Bert was not travelling from Zavetem airport today and was just in the local office. In my school there were several staff and students that had loved ones on the airport or subway... In the end all were accounted for and safe!

It's so sad that not everyone can say the same tonight, so sad...
