Sustain Eden celebration

A project I've been working on for the last 3 years has come to a successful end. We encouraged lots of people to use Freegle to hand on gardening stuff: seeds, plants, trees, tools and surplus produce. We also worked with PACT and community gardeners in Penrith, Appleby and beyond to support community growing. We ran some Grow-your-own training courses and a series of Visits to Edible Gardens (VEG) visits and funded the development of a Freegle mobile app. Thanks very much to Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS) and Big Lottery Fund.
