Day 171-angel on his shoulder
So still on bryn aka tartan terror duty and he was a good boy today :)
Went out for a nice road walk and all was going fine...as we were about to cross the small bridge 2 pheasants shot out from under it and we somehow accomplished the new levitating trick and landed a foot away from where we had started :) the drivers were fantastic and all stopped ( although i think they were too afraid to move). Interesting thing i learned today...horses actually do sh!T themselves when afraid :) x in all fairness to him i nearly needed fresh undies too.
We turned and were heading back after crossing the bridge as if it were thin ice, only then for an ignorant cyclist to race up Bryn's hin' end without warning ....he regretted that when bryn jumped and nearly landed on him....it is good manners to call as they are about to pass.
Cut onto the road and he gave himself a fright when he tripped over his own elephant size clumsy hoofs lol he even did the human thing where you stop and look for something to blame...
But when the other horse came trotting past our boy bryn didnt run away or throw me so job done for today :) x
These beads bryn is wearing are rhythm beads and are a native american tradition. They have bells which help the horse and rider stay in rhythm, scare off flighty birds and animals who might want to jump out as you pass, they also have feathers, angels and other symbols to help protect both from harm....plus they're pretty :)
My blip for today as im knackered ;)
