Dicks Creek Falls

   Mary and I are on a #BigBlipmeet outing to Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.  Today we went to Dicks Creek Falls.  The hike was 1 1/4 mile, deep into the national forrest corridor for Chattoga Wild and Scenic trails.
    Dicks Falls  has a  60-70' drop over rocks, edges and sand.  It was thrilling to sit on a rock (5'from the edge) and listen to the roar of the water and feel the spray in the air on our faces.  
   Then I hike all the way down the falls, but the vegetation didn't allow any good pictures.  Mary had walked out on a sandbar when I got back, I saw her looking for fish and wild flowers.  It was absolutely calming and thrilling to sit, eat a snack, and just soak in the ambiance.
