Abel Tasman

After our interesting night on the Aquapackers boat at Anchorage, we set off on our walk with Ailie to Marahau. We had barely gone 15 minutes up the hill when we were greeted by stunning views. Most of the walk was in bush - very welcome due to the heat - with wonderful views of the turquoise sea and coast. It was idyllic. We took our time as we were enjoying it so much. In the end we reached lovely wetlands with pretty shapes in the sand, then a cafe where we had a late lunch of fish pie and salad and a beer.
