Out for a Duck

Our last photography class until September, although we will meet up for outings once a month or thereabouts until then.

The village of Sharnbrook in north Bedfordshire used to have evening classes at the Upper School until the council decided they were no longer viable.  Not to be thwarted, the village set up their own classes under the name "Learning for Pleasure", for a nominal fee with topics such as Singing, History, Recorders, Chess, Pilates, Goldwork, Art, Photography and several others, all with volunteer tutors.  This is now in its 10th year with approximately 200 attendees.

JJ has taken the Photo Forum group for a couple of years, concentrating on Photoshop and I "apparently" lead the Photography group, although that only consists of sending out emails and keeping the class in order (ha!) and choosing topics for the term.

At the end of term bash this lunchtime, the "tutors" were given a £15 voucher for their time, and much to my surprise I had my first voucher today, hence finding out I now lead the class.  Surprised and embarrassed.

Just a duck today.
