Intriguing

I wonder if there is anything behind the bricked up doors. 
This is the bottom of Keighley Road, Hebden Bridge - opposite the White Lion.  Keighley Road used to turn sharp right here, but in 1959 it was straightened out.  This necessitated the demolition of some houses that were just to the right of this picture.
I suspect the doors were outside toilets for the demolished houses - the well could have supplied them with water - along with any horses passing by.
