Spirit of Coventry

My Dad was admitted to hospital last night so I went to see him today. :(
After visiting time had finished I headed off to a nearby housing estate which probably ranks as one of the most deprived areas in the country. 
I took a wander round and a few blips. The bleakness of the place seemed to match my mood :(
Some of the old 1950's concrete and pebble-dashed houses are being demolished and slowly replaced by even uglier boxes. One local resident told me that 'Spirit'  the developer (haha) are managing to build these new homes within a six week period! I wonder how long it will take before these too are demolished?
