Down by the river

Took a quick detour down to Cramond on the way home this evening for some shots as the weather was quite nice for a change.

Tried some long exposures but some kids and their parents fishing above the weir came out as ghosts. Luckily this woman appeared as they left the scene, climbed over the railings and sat down just at the right time for me to take a blip.

I was tempted to go over, say hello and ask if I could take some shots of her next to the river, but a) she didn't look like she wanted disturbed, b) its probably a bit pervy scary an old bloke in a suit wielding a camera coming over asking to take pictures when there's no one else about; so, thought better of it and headed home with at least this voyeur shot in the bag. Now if Pesky Princess was with me i dont think it would have been an issue.

In other news, #1 Son headed off to the Scout Jamborette at Blair Atholl this morning for 10 days. Hopefully they get good weather as their last camp two weeks ago was dreich.
