New lease on life

Well, today something got done that hadn't been done for years ... the brass got polished.  I wish I'd taken a before and after photo, as the contrast is significant.  

Needless to say, I'm thrilled. Nice and shiny brass ornaments now.  Makes you wonder why you didn't get to it before, as everything is so nice and 'shiny' now ... and us Dubai-ans like shiny :).

Been a good day, albeit cold again and rainy.  Waiting anxiously for spring, and sun, and new life, as all these ornaments have just had.

And of course, this being holy week, the new life in the resurrection of Jesus.  Easter is such a special celebration.
